Sinotruk 2024: A Year of Record-Breaking Achievements and Growth
As 2024 came to an end, Sinotruk has once again proven its dominance in the global commercial vehicle market, with major achievements across exports, technological advancements, and market leadership. This year, the company has continued to set new milestones and strengthen its position as China’s largest producer of heavy-duty trucks, while significantly expanding its global presence.

Record-Breaking Exports and Market Penetration
One of Sinotruk's most remarkable achievements in 2024 has been its record-breaking export performance. In February, the company reached a historic milestone by exporting over 14,000 vehicles in a single month, setting a new benchmark for Chinese heavy truck manufacturers. This accomplishment was celebrated on March 1, with a launch ceremony in Jinan Comprehensive Bonded Zone, marking Sinotruk's continued growth in global markets.

In 2024, Sinotruk accelerated its expansion in the global market, strategically enhancing its overseas supply chain. The company is expected to export 135,000 heavy-duty trucks this year, with export revenue reaching 45.1 billion yuan. It has seen rapid growth in high-end markets, with exports to Saudi Arabia rising by 74 percent year-on-year and exports to Australia increasing by 98 percent year-on-year.
Sinotruk now operates 29 KD (knock-down) plants, 4 registered subsidiaries, 226 distributors, 246 service centers, and 217 spare parts networks globally.
This success underscores Sinotruk's strategic focus on expanding its global footprint, especially in regions such as Southeast Asia, Africa, and Latin America, where the company has established a strong foothold.
Sinotruk’s growing presence in developed markets like Europe and North America is also noteworthy, as the company continues to deliver quality, cost-effective solutions to a broader international customer base. The company now operates over 600 service and parts outlets across more than 110 countries, further cementing its role as a global leader in the commercial vehicle sector.
Focus on New Energy and Technological Innovation
Sinotruk has also made impressive strides in new energy solutions. At the 2024 Hannover Motor Show, the company unveiled its upgraded Huanghe X7 hydrogen fuel ultra-low drag energy-saving truck, which set a Guinness World Record for fuel efficiency in 2023. This innovation is part of Sinotruk’s ongoing commitment to green technologies, with a strong emphasis on electric and hydrogen fuel-powered vehicles. The company’s Shandeka hydrogen fuel cell tractor is another prime example of its technological prowess and environmental leadership.

With a growing global demand for eco-friendly transportation solutions, Sinotruk’s new energy vehicles are playing a key role in reshaping the future of the commercial vehicle market. The company’s focus on reducing carbon emissions and improving fuel efficiency is helping it meet the needs of a more sustainability-conscious market.
Strong Financial Performance
Sinotruk’s financial results in 2024 have been equally impressive. Sinotruk achieved remarkable sales growth in 2024, with its total revenue projected to surpass 194 billion yuan ($27.23 billion), a year-on-year increase of over 10 percent. This robust growth has far exceeded market expectations, solidifying Sinotruk’s position as a key player in the global commercial vehicle industry.
At its global partner conference, the company announced an ambitious goal for 2025: achieving 450,000 vehicle sales with a projected annual growth rate of over 20%.
