Foton Leads in February Heavy-Duty Truck Sales with Upgraded Products
As the global economy recovers and e-commerce logistics expand, the commercial vehicle market is experiencing strong growth. At the same time, the push for new energy technologies is accelerating the industry's shift towards greener solutions. As a leading commercial vehicle manufacturer in China, Foton is leveraging its strong technology and diverse product lineup to drive sales growth in heavy-duty trucks, new energy vehicles, and international markets, securing its top position in the industry.

Steady Sales Growth and Comprehensive Product Range
In February 2025, Foton's heavy-duty truck sales reached 9,480 units, a 46.7% increase year-over-year. The company's new energy vehicle sales also saw a significant rise, maintaining a leading position in the sector. Foton offers a full range of heavy-duty trucks, including tractors, cargo trucks, dump trucks, and specialized vehicles. Additionally, it provides electric, hybrid, and hydrogen-powered models to meet the diverse needs of customers.

The Auman Galaxy series caters to various transport scenarios, from long-haul freight to construction operations. The Galaxy 9 is designed for long-distance transport, the Galaxy 7 is ideal for medium-to-long haul logistics, the Galaxy 5 suits regional distribution, and the Galaxy T is tailored for construction applications like dump and mixer trucks. This wide range of options ensures customers find the right vehicle for their business needs.
Enhanced Power and Efficiency
Foton has introduced several high-horsepower natural gas trucks to strengthen its market competitiveness. For example, the Auman Star Edition gas truck features the Foton Cummins A15N engine, upgraded to 580 horsepower with a peak torque of 2600N·m. The Auman Starwing Edition offers A12N/A15N engines, covering a horsepower range of 460-580. These models excel in express delivery, cold chain, and retail transportation, gaining popularity for their efficiency, safety, and comfort.

In the medium-duty truck segment, Foton's Auhawk models have also performed well. The Auhawk Zhilan electric truck, with a 246 kWh battery, delivers a 300 km range and features a smart cabin, making it perfect for urban logistics. The new Auhawk R-series 7.0L model has been upgraded for better power and comfort while optimizing fuel consumption. The Rowor ES5 Pro stands out with its high payload capacity and reliability, making it a preferred choice in logistics.
Technology Innovation Driving Industry Growth
Foton continues to focus on innovation, pushing the commercial vehicle industry towards intelligent and efficient solutions. It was the first to introduce a full range of automatic transmission heavy-duty trucks and launched the industry's first 49-ton liquid hydrogen truck and 240kW hydrogen fuel cell truck. The company has also developed a dedicated hybrid platform, including the DHE hybrid engine, DHT transmission, and DHP power system.

One standout model, the Auman Star Edition Hybrid Truck, is equipped with the Foton Cummins A13 hybrid engine, delivering 520 horsepower. Combined with an electric motor, the total output reaches 730 horsepower, with a maximum torque of 3900N·m. The truck features a 12-speed automatic transmission that intelligently adjusts shifting for better fuel efficiency. It achieves up to 26% fuel savings in mountainous routes and 16% savings on highways, significantly reducing operating costs for customers.

Continuous Innovation for Future Growth
Foton's sustained growth in heavy-duty truck sales is a result of its commitment to innovation and customer-focused strategies. Looking ahead, Foton will continue expanding its product lineup, strengthening its technology, and providing efficient, reliable, and intelligent commercial vehicle solutions to global customers, driving the industry toward high-quality development.
