FORLAND to Unveil the First Semi-Solid-State Battery Truck
On March 20, FORLAND will officially launch the Foton Xiangling, the first commercial vehicle equipped with a IECO semi-solid-state battery. This marks a significant milestone in the industry’s transition to new energy solutions.

The semi-solid-state battery offers several key advantages:
Extended Range – Higher energy density and larger capacity provide longer driving distances, improving efficiency for long-haul transport.
Longer Lifespan – The battery is designed to last up to 10 years or 800,000 km, with individual cells capable of 6,200 charge cycles, significantly reducing operating costs.
While semi-solid-state battery technology has been widely applied in passenger vehicles, manufacturers such as NIO, Dongfeng, and Seres have already integrated it into their models. Changan Deepal, IM Motors, Aion, and HiPhi plan to introduce it by 2025. At the same time, global automakers including Volkswagen, BMW, Toyota, Mercedes-Benz, and Nissan are preparing to launch fully solid-state battery EVs between 2025 and 2030.
The industry often says, "What happens in passenger cars today will happen in commercial vehicles tomorrow." This time, FORLAND is moving at the same pace as the passenger car sector!
How much will this groundbreaking truck cost? Find out on March 20!
