Foton and DP World Sign Strategic Agreement to Expand in Brazil
At the Foton Latin America Partner Conference 2025 held in São Paulo, Brazil, China’s leading commercial vehicle manufacturer Foton Motor signed a strategic cooperation agreement with global logistics leader DP World. The two companies will work together more closely in areas such as logistics, warehousing, and new energy, aiming to explore new opportunities in Brazil and beyond.

This agreement marks a new step in their partnership. The signing ceremony was attended by Li Shaoan, Vice President of Foton International, and Beat Simon, Chief Operating Officer of Global Logistics at DP World. Together, they announced plans to combine their strengths to improve global supply chain efficiency and promote greener logistics.
Foton and DP World already have a solid foundation of cooperation. In Nigeria, for example, DP World has purchased 400 Foton heavy-duty trucks to support port transportation. They also built a shared spare parts network in key regions to improve after-sales service. Leveraging their global presence, both companies have worked together on international projects to deliver equipment and support expansion into emerging markets.
Li Shaoan said, “DP World is a leader in global logistics. Their experience in port operations and supply chain services matches well with Foton’s global growth. This partnership will help our new energy vehicles go further into international markets and provide smarter, greener solutions to our customers.”
Beat Simon added, “We’re excited to support Foton’s growth in emerging markets. With DP World’s global network of ports and logistics facilities, we can help Foton bring its vehicles to the right markets faster and improve global supply chain performance.”
This partnership brings together Foton’s strength in green commercial vehicle technology and DP World’s logistics resources. Together, they aim to upgrade logistics systems in emerging markets and accelerate the shift toward low-carbon and smart supply chains.

DP World was founded in 1972 and is based in Dubai.
