SANY Delivers 110 Trucks to UAE Port Operator, Supporting Green Logistics
SANY Heavy Truck has delivered the first batch of 110 trucks to a leading port operator in the United Arab Emirates. The delivery ceremony was held at the Abu Dhabi F1 circuit on July 28.
This is the first time the port operator has purchased Chinese-brand heavy trucks in large quantities, marking the entry of Chinese heavy trucks into the UAE’s key logistics transportation system.
The delivery includes both SANY electric heavy trucks and diesel-powered trucks. It is also the first time that electric heavy trucks have been introduced for operations at the port, providing a more efficient and sustainable solution for port transportation.

Designed for the high-temperature and heavy-duty conditions of the Middle East, SANY heavy trucks deliver reliable performance for demanding logistics operations. The deployment of electric trucks also supports the UAE’s “Net Zero by 2050” strategy and contributes to the region’s transition toward greener logistics.
The delivery highlights SANY Heavy Truck’s growing presence in overseas markets. Shortly before the UAE delivery, SANY completed extreme performance tests on an F2 circuit in China. From the F2 circuit in China to the F1 circuit in Abu Dhabi, SANY has continued to verify its products in different environments and accelerate its global expansion.

During the event, senior executives from the port operator, SANY Group’s Transportation Energy Business Unit, and SANY’s UAE subsidiary attended the ceremony. The event featured vehicle test drives, electric and diesel truck performance comparisons, and an introduction to SANY’s integrated transportation energy solutions, giving customers a closer look at SANY’s new energy heavy truck capabilities.
The two sides also discussed the application of electric heavy trucks in port logistics, including operational efficiency, costs, and real-world performance. During the event, they reached an agreement for an additional purchase of 300 electric heavy trucks.
From the first delivery to further cooperation, SANY Heavy Truck is continuing to expand its presence in the Middle East. The partnership not only strengthens the global development of Chinese heavy truck brands but also creates a new example of cooperation between China and the UAE in green transportation and new energy.
