FOTON Strengthens Legal Support in Europe to Support Global Expansion
FOTON is strengthening its legal support in Europe following the launch of its Europe strategy at IAA Transportation in Hanover, Germany.
Recently, Yan Min, FOTON’s General Counsel, led a team to Europe to develop local legal resources and improve legal support and risk management for the company’s overseas business.
Europe has complex laws and strict regulatory requirements. Companies operating in the region need professional legal support in areas such as cross-border transactions, intellectual property protection, regulatory compliance and commercial dispute resolution.
Companies entering the European market must also understand local product approval requirements to ensure that their products and services meet local regulations. Building a network of local legal resources is therefore an important step in supporting FOTON’s business expansion in Europe.
During the visit, FOTON’s legal team traveled to Stockholm, Sweden, to connect with international commercial arbitration institutions and legal service providers with cross-border expertise.
The team held discussions with local legal service providers on establishing long-term communication and cooperation. These efforts are expected to strengthen FOTON’s ability to handle commercial arbitration, resolve cross-border disputes, develop local compliance systems and protect intellectual property in Europe.
FOTON aims to move from responding to legal issues after they arise to identifying risks early and integrating legal support into every stage of its overseas business.
By working closely with business teams, the legal team will help identify potential risks in advance and improve compliance management, providing more timely and comprehensive support for operations in Europe.
Going forward, FOTON will continue to develop its international legal capabilities and strengthen its professional and local legal support. By adapting to local regulations and business practices, the company aims to improve overseas compliance management and risk control, supporting the steady and sustainable growth of its global business.
