WEICHAI New Energy Commercial Vehicle Reports Strong Overseas Growth
WEICHAI New Energy Commercial Vehicle (abbreviated as WEICHAI NECV) is expanding its presence in international markets as demand for Chinese commercial vehicles continues to grow. From January to October 2025, China exported 843,000 commercial vehicles, up 11.6% year-on-year. In the same period, WEICHAI New Energy’s overseas sales surged 71%, far above the industry average.
This strong performance reflects the company’s rapidly expanding product lineup and a more mature global partner network.
At its 2026 Global Partner Conference, WEICHAI NECV showcased 30 new models, including three series launched globally for the first time. These vehicles serve a wide range of logistics needs, from city deliveries and intercity transport to long-haul operations. Partners from South America, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East inspected the vehicles, test-drove them, and discussed technical features with company engineers
The LANDKING Cargo Van delivers strong performance, high efficiency, and a spacious cargo area. It is available in left- and right-hand drive and offers both fuel and electric options. The van is available in 6- and 7-meter lengths, offering a cargo volume of 10.5–15 m³ and a maximum payload of 2,750 kg. The electric version features a 120 kW motor, 360 N·m torque, and a WEICHAI-FinDreams high-performance battery that provides up to 300 km of range. Fast charging from 15% to 80% takes just 45 minutes. Customers praised its flexible cargo space and reliable range, calling it ideal for city logistics.

The LANDKING X1 is designed for urban delivery. It comes with either a 43 kWh or 56 kWh battery, a 2-ton integrated axle, and intelligent energy management, providing a range of 185 km or 240 km. With a 3,200 mm cargo bed, an 840 mm low deck height, and single or dual rear wheels, it adapts easily to various loading requirements. Dealers said its compact size and impressive payload make city deliveries more efficient.

The LANDKING X7 is available in both electric and fuel versions, designed for city deliveries as well as long-haul transport. The electric version offers battery options ranging from 132 to 300 kWh, delivers over 600 km of range, and can be equipped with Bosch motors up to 200 kW. The fuel version comes with WEICHAI’s ‘Golden Powertrain’ (WP engine, FAST gearbox, HanDe axle), available in 160, 170, or 190 hp. The X7 can be configured with flatbed, stake, box, or refrigerated bodies, making it versatile for various logistics needs.

As its overseas business grows, WEICHAI NECV is strengthening its global support system. The company is building four key support pillars to enhance delivery efficiency, service response, and operational reliability abroad. Localized production through overseas factories, KD assembly, and supply chain coordination speeds up deliveries while ensuring vehicles comply with local regulations and road conditions. The company also builds local teams with expertise in technology, marketing, and service to provide end-to-end support from R&D to after-sales. Its global spare parts centers, service networks, and remote diagnostics platforms extend service coverage and enhance the customer experience. Flexible financial solutions enable partners to bring vehicles to local markets more efficiently.

Looking ahead, WEICHAI NECV plans to roll out more models in 2026 to meet logistics needs across urban, intercity, and long-haul routes. ‘We aim to work closely with our global partners to bring WEICHAI NECV Trucks to more countries and regions,’ said a company spokesperson.
With continuous technology upgrades and service improvements, WEICHAI NECV is committed to delivering efficient, reliable, and environmentally friendly transport solutions worldwide.
