FAW sales up 8.8% in first 11 months
FAW Group Corporation, a major Chinese auto maker, reported its sales went up 8.8% in the past 11 months to 1.42 million cars, sources reported.The sales volume is slightly higher than the industry average and accounts for 16.5% of the total market share.
During the Jan.-Nov. period, FAW sold 108,785 sedans, up 49.8% from a year earlier. Sales of its self-developed Bestrun rose 117.1% to 43,870.
Its two joint ventures, FAW-Volkswagen and FAW Toyota sold 467,343 and 339,064 units during the period, up 9.1% and 37.2% respectively year on year.
