FAW Ranks 1st among Top 500 Chinese Machinery Corporations
The result of "2009 China Top 500 Machinery Corporations" was released at the Beijing Great Hall of the People on Jul. 30, FAW Group ranks 1st among the 500 corporations. The following is SAIC and Shanghai Electric respectively. FAW has crowned top 500 Chinese machinery corporations for six consecutive years since 2004. FAW's branches, Tianjin FAW Toyota and FAW Jiefang Qingdao Division also enroll into top 100, ranking 12th and 72nd respectively.
The activity is sponsored by China Machinery Enterprise Management Association, and jointly conducted by Research Institute of Machinery Industry Economic & Management and World Executive Group.
There are 12 automotive corporations among the top 20, and 22 among the top 50. Although the enlisted amount of automotive corporations is fewer than before due to the influence of financial crisis in 2008, automotive industry still contribute a lot to the development of national economy.
