Changchun: From the first Chinese car to the largest automotive base in China
Changchun in Jilin Province is known as "Motor City." The first automobile factory in New China opened at here, which made the first car in China. More than 50 years ago, Changchun became strategically important industrial city because of the Automobile dream, 50 years later, it had developed into the largest car base in China, and it continuously contribute power to the revitalization of the national auto industry.

Changchun is famous because of FAW. The advance of Faw is because of Changchun. Growing through the country's reform and open, FAW Group was injecting new vigor and vitality. Faw Group started their second time establish.
In the new century, Faw steps into a new stair. Today's FAW is not only has sedan and light trucks bases, but also forming a heavy, medium, light, sedan, passenger, micro-six major vehicle series, more than 550 varieties; products are exported to Southeast Asia, Northeast Asia, Central African and so on countries and regions.

Light trucks and sedans become the leading products in China market. Its annual output has more than 100 million vehicles, accounting for one fifth of the country's total volume. In addition to FAW, German Volkswagen, the U.S. General Motors, Toyota, Mazda and other international auto giants are all gathering in Changchun. Automobile industry has become a pillar industry in Changchun City.
