Domestic auto sales top 7 mln units Jan-July
Data released by China Association of Automobile Manufacturers showed that both output and sales volume of China's autos have exceeded 7 million sets from January to July, all types of autos have kept prosperity in both production and sale, and the performance of all auto manufacturers have increased totally
In July, as for the auto sales volume, the top 10 automakers were listed orderly: SAIC Group (SAIC), Dongfeng Motor Corporation (Dongfeng), FAW Group Corporation (FAW), Chana Auto Co. Ltd (Chana), Beijing Automobile Works (BAW), Guangzhou Automobile Industry Group Co., Ltd (GAIG), Chery Automobile Co., Ltd (Chery), BYD Inc. (BYD), Brilliance Auto and Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Co., Ltd (JAC). Compared with last month, the sales volume of SAIC, Dongfeng, GAIG and JAC increased slightly while those of other automakers decreased somewhat. In July, the total auto sales volume of the above-mentioned 10 automakers was 929.5 thousand sets, taking up 86 percent of total auto sales volume.
In July, as for the sales volume of commercial vehicles, the top 10 enterprises were listed orderly: Beiqi Foton Motor Co., Ltd (Beiqi Foton), Dongfeng, FAW, JAC, Shenyang Jinbei Automotive Industry Co., Ltd. (JAIC), Chongqing Chana, China National Heavy Duty Truck Group Corp., Ltd (CNHTC), Jiangling Motors Co., Ltd (Jiangling), Shandong KAMA Automobile Manufacturing Co., Ltd (KAMA) and Nanjing Automobile Group (Corporation) (Nanjing Automobile). Compared with last month, the ones with rapid decrease were Jinbei and Chana while other enterprises showed a stable market performance as a whole. In July, the total sales volume of commercial vehicles of the above-mentioned 10 enterprises was 179.1 thousand sets, taking up 71 percent of the total sales volume of commercial vehicles.
From January to July, as for the sales volume of commercial vehicles, the top 10 enterprises were listed orderly: Beiqi Foton, Dongfeng, FAW, JAC, Chongqing Chana, Jinbei, CNHTC, Jiangling, KAMA and SGMW. Compared with the same period of last year, the sales volume of Beiqi Foton, Dongfeng and FAW exceeded 150 thousand sets, among which, Beiqi Foton took the lead in exceeding 300 thousand sets, showing a more excellent performance. From January to July, the total sales volume of commercial vehicles of the above-mentioned 10 enterprises was 1.264 million sets, taking up 70 percent of the total sales volume of commercial vehicles.
