FAW Jiefang expands existing supply agreement with WABCO
(chinatrucks.com, Feb.26, 2010)FAW Jiefang, Chinese manufacturer of trucks and cars, has expanded WABCO Holdings's existing supply agreement by selecting WABCO to furnish clutch servo technology for multiple heavy duty truck platforms on a sole supplier basis as of 2010.
WABCO began performing in the year 2009 for FAW Jiefang as a main supplier of a full range of braking systems for commercial trucks.
Lizhi Wang, general manager of FAW Jiefang, said: "2009 was exceptionally challenging for our hundreds of suppliers as we increasingly grew to achieve our highest annual truck production volume ever. WABCO strongly contributed to our success by anticipating our needs and quickly adapting their resources both locally and globally to fully support our requirements. We are expanding our relationship with WABCO because we value the quality, reliability and innovation of their products and services."
