New plant of FAW Harbin Light Vehicle Co., Ltd is established

(chinatrucks.com, May 25, 2010) The new project is taken 500,000 square meters, and the design capacity is 200,000, ＆ the first-stage capacity of the project is 100,000 around. The first stage of project began to set up in June of 2009, and it contains four processes, such as, pressing, and two assembly power systems, such as frame, axle, as well as plant accessory engineering. The main production shops establishments have been completed and it will be completely finished by the end of 2010.

At present, pressing, coating, and assembly shops have been finished, and the interior decoration has been conducting. The coating workshop has begun to install the equipments now. FAW Harbin Light Vehicle Co., Ltd will move to new plant at the end of 2010. The capacity of light trucks in 2011 will reach 60,000, and the capacity will reach 100,000 in 2012.
