FAW trucks are exported to Africa
(chinatrucks.com, July 8, 2010) Recently, 325 medium trucks and heavy trucks of FAW have been exported to Africa. It is the first delivery batch products among delivery product goal of 1400 trucks. It represents FAW has got big break through of Africa market exploration.
At present, relative completed service networks have been established in 11 countries of Africa. FAW has won recognition at the local after 10 years great efforts. In terms of Angola procurement program, FAW has overcome lots of difficulties, such as broad program distribution, poor road condition, and high requirement for product quality and FAW finally stands out from various competition factories against self ability and advantages of medium and heavy trucks.
FAW and China Africa Development Foundation have cooperated to establish Africa Investment Co., Ltd when expanding export volume and completing service network. Meanwhile, FAW plans to establish large scale production base in Africa to further improve competition strength of FAW products at local, and promote export increase mode transfer.
