FAW Harbin Light Vehicle to Be Produced in New Plant
www.chinatrucks.com: It is learned from FAW Harbin light vehicle company that the new plant of FAW Harbin light vehicle company was finished in South Harbin Industrial Park, and they will move there on Feb. 18, 2011.
FAW Harbin light vehicle company has long focused on manufacturing Jiefang light trucks for over forty years. And the new plant attracted investment of 1.4 billion Yuan, and its annual output can amount to 100,000 units, doubling its original production capacity. China FAW and GM Motors cooperated to a JV in end of August in 2009, and FAW Harbin light vehicle company became its subsidiary.
The company also inherited advanced technology and management concepts from GM, and both production capacity and quality were improved.
