Jiefang J6P 6x4 Tractor

A new market demand rises because of the new policy. FAW-Jiefang recently launches a J6P light-weighted tractor, with an actual weight of 8t. 
 

 

With CA6DL2 China-5 engine from Wuxi Diesel Engine Works, Jiefang J6P is upgraded in many respects in order to save fuel. It is learnt that J6P 6x4 tractor takes three measures to lower down its weight, such as using new 435 driving axle, aluminum alloy transmission and light-weighted wheels, reducing by 500kg in total. If the entire tractor uses aluminum alloy wheels, the weight can be further reduced by over 200kg, thus its actual weight is only 7.8t.
 

SINOTRUK Haohan 6x4 Tractor

After the implementation of the new policy, SINOTRUK also launches its new light-weighted Haohan 6x4 tractor, weighting only 7.6t. 
 

 

The tractor integrates MAN’s light-weight frame, front axle and driving axle into a whole and adopts the design concept for driving cab from German Mercedes-Benz. With respect to light-weight design, Haohan 6x4 tractor reduces its weight to a lowest level by using aluminum alloy transmission, fuel tank, and gas receiver at the same time of maintaining the stability and reliability of the entire tractor. In addition, Hendrickson HUV suspension, Voith retarder, and aluminum wheel, etc is available as an option for Haohan tractor,  in order to further lower down its weight.
 

Dongfeng Tianlong KN4H 6x4 Tractor

Dongfeng also actively launches its light-weight product—KN4H 6x4 light-weight tractor, an exclusive vehicle for coal transportation market. 
 

 

KN4H equips with Dongfeng Cummins engine. The entire tractor is light-weighted. By using advanced technologies such as high-strength steel frame, structure-optimized chassis and application of aluminum alloy, the tractor reduces weight in a scientific way following the principle of reducing weight but maintaining quality. Its weight is only 7.7t. Moreover, the tractor equips Cummins EBP smart fuel-saving system which can assist drivers in choosing from Economy, Balance and Power based in different road conditions and load situations, saving as much as 5% fuel.

 

Shacman New Delong M3000 6x4 Tractor 

Unwilling to lag behind, Shacman launches its light-weighted product as well. 

New Delong M3000 equips Weichai 4-valve diesel engine which improves power by 4% and fuel economy by 2%. Specific to the coal transportation’s feature of “empty come and full leave”, Shacman mainly focuses on the match of large horsepower, direct gear and small speed ratio. 

 

 

In the meanwhile, M3000 has also been optimized in the light-weight of engine, reducing weight by 60kg. Together with other methods like light-weighted wheels, tyres and aluminum alloy gas receiver, Delong M3000 is claimed to be the lightest 6x4 tractor in the industry. But how much it weighs is still unknown. 

 

Beiben V3MT 6x4 Tractor

Beiben also launches its V3MT 6x4 light-weight tractor. It uses Weichai 10L and 12L engine, the power and lifespan of which are both higher than 9L engine. 
 

 

V3MT’ cab and structure follows V3ET, but its connecting shaft assembly is optimized. When severe collision happens, the cab can be ejected to a safety zone automatically, which is far more advanced against its compartment. 

 

Beiben says that the entire tractor with bolster and spare tyre weighs only 7.748t due to the optimized design and scientific structure.
