FAW Jiefang Unveils Its "Colombo" Smart Logistics Program
On January 19, FAW Jiefang Ecological Cooperation Partners Conference themed with “Gathering Wisdom, Sharing a Future” was held in Xiamen, Fujian province. At the conference, FAW Jiefang rolled out a list of its ecological cooperation partners and laid out specific plans for its "Colombo" Smart Logistics Program, which consists of AI+ Open Plan based on Jiefang Intelligent Vehicles and Connect+ Open Plan based on Jiefang Internet Connected Vehicles.
Over 50 enterprises joined FAW Jiefang “Colombo” Smart Logistics Program, including Bosch, JD, Manbang, PlusAI, etc. In addition, FAW Jiefang signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Manbang Group and delivered the first batch of intelligent vehicles to JD.
In October, 2018, FAW Jiefang officially launched “Colombo” Smart Logistics Program, aiming to push forward the development of China’s commercial vehicle industry and change its role from being a mere manufacturer to a provider of intelligent transportation solutions.
