FAW Jiefang Qingdao's Production Volume Reaches One Million Units
On April 14, FAW Jiefang Qingdao Automobile Co., Ltd. (hereafter referred to as Jiefang Qingdao) witnessed a historical moment when the 1,000,000th truck went off the assembly line. In just six years after its production, Jiefang Qingdao has produced one million trucks.
In 2020, Jiefang Qingdao made records in producing over 1,000 units trucks in a single day and over 30,000 units trucks in a single month. For the whole year, the company’s production volume reached 267,000 units and its sales volume stood at 283,000 units.
In the first quarter this year, Jiefang Qingdao produced 76,000 units trucks, up by 69% year on year; it sold 98,000 units trucks, up by 77% year on year.
