FAW Jiefang Showcases Eagle Path NG Tractor at the 136th Canton Fair
On October 15, FAW Jiefang brought its latest high-end truck, the Eagle Path(YingTu YT/EP) Business Class 6×4 NG Series Tractor Truck, to the 136th Canton Fair, showcasing China's strength in the commercial vehicle industry. The Canton Fair, China’s largest and longest-running international trade event, is a key platform for global trade and a barometer of China’s foreign commerce. As a leading player in the commercial vehicle sector, FAW Jiefang aims to offer high-quality, efficient logistics solutions to customers around the world.
At the exhibition, the Yingtu Business Class Tractor immediately grabbed the attention of many visitors. This premium NG series tractor was designed for industries that require high performance, safety, and fuel efficiency, like express delivery, cold chain logistics, and hazardous materials transport. Available in 600-horsepower and 580-horsepower versions, it’s powered by FAW’s latest CA6SX1 16-liter and CA6SN2 15-liter engines, paired with advanced automatic transmission and hydraulic retarder systems. With these features, the truck offers excellent power and energy efficiency, while also standing out for its high safety standards, smart and comfortable cabin, and low maintenance needs.
In recent years, FAW Jiefang has expanded its global presence, exporting vehicles to 85 countries and regions, including Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America, with a total of 200,000 units sold. Its popular models like the J7, J6, JH6, and Tiger V have been well-received in international markets. The company also has a strong global network, with 105 dealers and 190 service providers, and operates 19 assembly plants in countries like Pakistan, South Africa, Mexico, and Vietnam. Over 60% of its exports are in the form of KD kits (knock-down assemblies), and its South African facility is the largest and most advanced of its kind on the continent.
Looking forward, FAW Jiefang plans to continue expanding internationally by investing in local operations and strengthening its presence along the Belt and Road Initiative. The company is focusing on building three major centers for marketing, production, and finance to further improve its products and profitability. By leveraging its advanced technology and strong service network, FAW Jiefang is committed to boosting the reputation of Chinese commercial vehicles around the world.
