FAW TRUCKS Delivers 131 Tiger VH 4×4 Light Trucks to the Philippines
FAW TRUCKS recently delivered 131 Tiger VH 4×4 light-duty trucks to the Philippines, the largest single shipment of this model to date. This marks the company’s first export of the all-wheel-drive model to the Philippine market and a key step in expanding its presence in Southeast Asia.

The Philippines, one of Southeast Asia’s fastest-growing economies, is experiencing increased demand for reliable and cost-effective commercial vehicles. This demand is fueled by rapid urbanization and the modernization of rural infrastructure. Given the country’s tropical climate, long rainy seasons, and complex island geography, vehicles with superior off-road and all-terrain capabilities are essential for effective transportation and logistics.
The Tiger VH 4×4 light truck is engineered to meet these challenges. Featuring advanced all-wheel-drive technology and full-terrain adaptability, it overcomes the limitations of traditional two-wheel-drive trucks on rough, muddy, or uneven roads. This makes it an ideal choice for diverse commercial applications in the region.
In addition to freight and logistics, the Tiger VH is widely used in public services including waste management and emergency response operations. Its robust payload capacity and all-weather performance provide valuable support to infrastructure development and community services across the Philippines.
To ensure durability in the Philippines’ harsh climate, the Tiger VH is equipped with enhanced cooling systems and anti-corrosion treatments, designed specifically to withstand high temperatures and humidity. Coupled with a powerful driveline and proven reliability, this model is quickly gaining trust among local customers as a dependable partner for business growth.
This record-breaking delivery not only reinforces FAW TRUCKS’ presence in the Southeast Asia commercial vehicle market but also demonstrates its strengths in all-wheel-drive technology, product localization, and responsive after-sales service. Moving forward, FAW TRUCKS plans to broaden its product portfolio and strengthen local partnerships, accelerating its transformation from a “Made-in-China” manufacturer into a leading global provider of smart and efficient transportation solutions.
