FAW TRUCKS Showcases Flagship Models at Mining Indonesia 2025
FAW TRUCKS, together with its Indonesian partner PT Gaya Makmur Mobil (GMM), participated in the 23rd Mining Indonesia exhibition. The company showcased three flagship models – the JH6 tractor, the Tiger VH 4x4 bus, and the HanV 2.0 fuel tanker – demonstrating the strength and influence of Chinese commercial vehicles.
The booth attracted more than 30,000 visitors and welcomed over 2,000 customers. During the show, FAW TRUCKS generated more than 900 qualified sales leads and received over 120 purchase intentions, making it one of the most popular booths at the event.

Tailored for Indonesia
Each of the three models was specifically developed to handle Indonesia’s challenging road conditions and climate.
JH6 Tractor: Designed for heavy-duty mining transport, the JH6 features a reinforced double-layer frame and advanced anti-corrosion technology, making it highly durable in Indonesia’s hot and humid environment.

Tiger VH 4x4 Bus: Upgraded from a 4x2 to a full 4x4 system, the Tiger VH is built for rough terrain. Inside, it offers air conditioning, leather seats, and soundproofing, creating a quiet and comfortable “mobile meeting room” for mining companies.

HanV 2.0 Fuel Tanker: Developed to meet Indonesian oil transport standards, the HanV 2.0 offers customizable tank sizes (25–30 cubic meters) and a robust steel structure. It has been officially certified by Pertamina and is the only Chinese brand included in its oil transport fleet.

FAW TRUCKS has expanded rapidly in Indonesia. Sales increased from 400 units in 2022 to 2,600 units in 2024, with a target of 4,000 units in 2025. The brand now has more than 10,000 vehicles on Indonesian roads and remains the only Chinese truck brand that can be legally registered and licensed for road use.

Earlier this year, FAW TRUCKS signed a strategic agreement with a leading logistics company for 1,200 trucks, setting a new benchmark in intercity transport. Its vehicles are also being deployed in major nickel and coal mining projects, showcasing strong performance and adaptability in demanding conditions.
FAW TRUCKS will continue to expand its product lineup and service network in Indonesia, providing efficient, green, and sustainable solutions for both mining and logistics. The company is committed to strengthening its global presence and bringing more Chinese trucks to international markets.
